Bowls Event Scoring (BES)

BES is an Excel workbook for managing, scoring and presenting lawn bowls events and tournaments. It brings together results, draws, scorecards, ladders and Calcutta information, with printing and image export tools for sharing event information.

The workbook supports a range of team numbers and round structures, including standard preset draws and Winner vs Winner (WvW) events. WvW features generate subsequent round pairings and rink allocations, with a preview for printing or preparing next-round scorecards.

BES is developed and maintained by Kees Struik, originally based on Geoff Graham’s published format, with additional ideas and improvements developed over time. Suggestions and feedback are welcome.
